Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers
The Eastern Association of College and University Business Officerswas founded in 1919 by higher education business officers. Its primary goal is to provide high quality professional development opportunities that are relevant and timely. Today, EACUBO has a diverse membership of nearly 1,000 institutions and organizations. In support of the instructional, research and public service missions of higher education, EACUBO exists to promote effective and ethical business and financial administration in colleges and universities in the eastern region. EACUBO’s mission is carried out by designing and producing professional development activities; by promoting inter-institutional communication and cooperation among business and financial officers; and by disseminating information on current and future issues affecting business and financial administrators. Development offerings designed to assist business officers at all levels within the institution include: an annual meeting, annual workshop, senior business officers roundtable, Administrative Management Institute at Cornell University, area workshops on various topics including state and federal regulations, current tax issues, information technology, accounting, and budgeting, quarterly EACUBO newsletter, and roundtables and seminars on topics of high current interest to the membership.
